Fantastic Finds Friday: Anti-Anxiety Supplement

If there is one question I get asked a lot, it is what can I give my animal to help calm them down. People are often looking for a natural supplement that is not going to completely knock their animals out but may help take the edge off a stressful situation. My go to recommended product is called Composure Pro Advanced made by Vetriscience. It can be helpful in dogs and cats that have anxiety secondary to fireworks, thunderstorms, traveling, grooming, parties at their house, and boarding. It is a combination of Thiamine, colostrum, and tryptophan. All which have been proven to have mild sedating and calming properties to them. It is not a one supplement fits all anxieties, but if your dog or cat has mild issues I would definitely try this out on its own. If your animal has more severe anxiety this may be used in combination with prescription medications from your veterinarian.
